I did Kamree's hair this morning and I pulled it all back into a ponytail and told her to go look in the mirror. My kids always have to look in the mirror after I get them ready to make sure that the job I did is acceptable or not - if its not I have to redo it! Kamree looked in the mirror and kind of smiled. She then looked at me and I asked her if she liked it. She said " Yeah, but how about we put my bangs down." She kind of gave me that look like: Nice try, but not the best job you could have done! I then asked her " Why do you want your bangs down?" She said "Because it will make me look like a princess!" I got a comb and put some of her bangs down, she looked again, grabbed the comb and in a sensitive voice (so she wouldn't hurt my feelings) said, "Hmmm, let me just do it." She then barely touched her hair, looked again, smiled and said " Okay, thats better!" She is so funny! She and Jace were playing together the other day and ran in my room and sat on our chair. I looked at them and asked if they were buddies. Kamree looked at me and said "J J is a buddy, and I am a geeirl!"
Jace at the moment is driving me crazy! I love him to death, but he is driving me crazy! His job is to follow right behind Kamree and bug the heck out of her! Yesterday he bit her on the back, pinched her on the arm, and then took one of his big cars and whacked her across the face! Today he went up behind her, wrapped his arms around her, and pulled her back like he was trying to wrestle her. Poor Kamree! But then, 5 minutes after he does something, they are best friends again! I love my little boy so much! He is wild, rough, and sweet all at the same time! One thing he is really really good at is saying "thank you". He never forgets! His other favorite thing to do lately is to chase me around the house with his dinosaurs trying to scare me!
Well, I better go. Jeff and I are doing well. We are just staying busy and tired, but it is all worth it!
